Mars Gonzalez

Senior Percussionist

Mars is one of the snare drummers of NZ Drumline. A member since 2018 and native from Argentina, he relocated to New Zealand back in 2012 in search for new musical challenges and homemade pies.

Being a drumkit drummer since the age of 9, playing almost every genre from Jazz, Latin to Progressive Death Metal, Mars also has studies in Popular Music and Sound Engineering. He joined the NZ Drumline as a way of expanding drumming technique in a world full of uncharted waters.

But wait, there is more! During the day, Mars holds a secret identity working as an IT Infrastructure Engineer and holds a strange liking for high contrast photography
